Revelstoke Revenge Returns This Weekend After Date Change

Revelstoke Revenge is scheduled for October 24 and 25 in Revelstoke, British Columbia, after being moved to the final weekend of the month.

The Pacific Northwest Motorcycle Association lists the event as BCORCS Round 6 and BCORCS-I Round 2, while the Revy Riders Dirtbike Club describes it as the first PNWMA race to be held in Revelstoke.

The event gives British Columbia and Alberta off-road riders a late-season competition opportunity in terrain very different from a conventional motocross facility.

Revy Riders describes the area as a mix of rainforest, substantial elevation, machine-built flow and technical single-track. Those conditions can create a course where line choice, traction management and endurance matter as much as outright speed.

The rescheduled date makes final preparation especially important. Riders and families who planned around the earlier weekend need to confirm travel, registration and event details before leaving for Revelstoke.

Late October also adds a weather variable. Temperatures can change quickly in the mountains, daylight is shorter and rain can turn otherwise predictable dirt into a much more demanding surface.

A sensible race setup therefore starts with reliability. Tires, brakes, controls, chain condition, wheel bearings, cooling systems and protective equipment deserve attention before the motorcycle is loaded for the trip.

Transport planning matters too. Riders travelling from other parts of B.C. or Alberta may face long highway drives and changing mountain conditions before they even reach the race site.

For regional dealers, the event creates a practical service opportunity without requiring exaggerated racing claims. Pre-race inspections, common replacement parts, suitable tires, hand protection and post-event maintenance are all directly relevant to competitors.

Clubs also benefit from events like Revelstoke Revenge because sanctioned racing gives riders a structured place to compete, introduces visitors to local terrain and can strengthen the volunteer network needed to keep regional off-road competition active.

The PNWMA calendar confirms the October 24–25 dates and the BCORCS classifications. Revy Riders provides the local connection and directs competitors toward registration and club information.

Riders should use those organizer channels for final check-in times, class requirements, course updates and any weather-related changes.

The significance of the event is straightforward: a rescheduled Canadian off-road race is going ahead this weekend in Revelstoke, adding another late-season stop for riders before winter closes much of the regional dirt-bike calendar.
